We tend to believe that having just one more thing or experience will give us the happiness we yearn for. Just one more pay rise, renovation, relationship, holiday… then I’ll be satisfied and life can officially begin! Underneath this is a sense of lacking, of missing out. What to do? This retreat will draw on the wisdom of the meditation tradition – once you have achieved, created or done, the path to contentment comes through letting go. Instead of fruitlessly chasing more, let your mind return home to natural balance and joy. On this weekend you will have time and space to practise this, and learn skills you can use across every area of your life.
In all retreats we explore practices that are useful in both the retreat situation and in everyday life. We aim to teach in a way that allows you to apply the experiences and understanding of meditation throughout your life.
