Health and well-being
Is health just a physical concern or does the mind play into it as well? Our Western medical approach has focused on seeing the body as a purely physical entity that can best be treated just on the physical level. In contrast, the Eastern meditation traditions have always seen that the health of the mind is integral to the health of our body. At the Lifeflow Centre we work with both views; each has merit. A key element of the Lifeflow Meditation is helping to restore the natural balance of the physical, emotional and mental aspects of our life. Everyone has felt this state of balance at some time in their lives, from which the body can start to heal itself. During this weekend we will explore this state through practical exercises and look at how it is integral to maintaining our health.
