How long has it been since you’ve felt an abundance of joy, a sense of overflowing with life?  Our 7-day retreat provides the ideal conditions to rediscover your natural, joyful state. During the retreat there is time for deep rest and recovery, time to “do nothing”. In fact, our body is never “doing nothing” – retreat allows our energies to restore, and our mind to settle and clear of its own accord. Out of this calm and clarity a sense of joy naturally arises. Learn about this, how to cultivate it and how to rekindle it in your daily life.

Enjoy time out at Lifeflow meditation retreats

As this retreat runs for a whole week, it offers the opportunity to refresh yourself physically, emotionally and mentally. In all retreats we practise techniques that are useful in the retreat situation and can also be applied to everyday life. We aim to teach in a way that lets you link the experiences and understanding of meditation throughout your life.

Please note that all retreat practice offers the time and space to allow a sense of deep unfolding and growth. At times this may lead to feeling intense emotions – this is a natural part of retreat and is a part of the unfolding process. The teachers conducting this retreat are highly skilled in working through these experiences. Waged: $885 inc GST

Course Fee includes . . .

  • Classes provide the understanding of what is happening in retreatGuidance throughout each day in retreat. There are normally 4 – 5 guided meditation sessions per day in retreat
  • Comprehensive theory classes. On top of the sessions listed above, we provide 1 – 2 theory classes per day in retreat
  • Retreat handout with a summary of the theory being presented
  • Gentle stretch and breath sessions – normally 1 per day
  • A room with a view ... Tara Hills has been custom built for retreatsAll meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner; includes snacks in between meals. We serve delicious, fresh, healthy, mostly vegetarian food. (If you have any special food requirements, eg gluten-free, lactose intolerance etc, please bring any additional items you may need; soy milk is provided.)
  • Single room accommodation in our purpose built retreat building at Tara Hills Retreat Centre.
  • Highly qualified teachers are on every retreat - you can check your meditation experiences and get some guidance during the retreat.

Discounts available

  • Members receive a 10% discount on this retreat and all other retreats and courses. Refer to our Membership page for full details. Not valid with other discounts (except share room discount).

Concessions

The concession rate is available for full time students or Health Care Card holders. Please present your concession card when starting a course or when booking in person.

Scholarships

A limited number of half fee scholarships for weekend retreats are available for full time tertiary students and holders of Health Care cards. Check out our Scholarships page for more info.

How to get there and what do I need to bring?

When you book into a retreat we'll send you a map of directions to Tara Hills as well a summary of what to bring (basically - just bring some comfortable clothes and your bedding. Everything else is provided. More details on our Retreats FAQ page).

What happens on a Lifeflow retreat? What should I expect?
